Wendy Lou King spent her career at the intersection of steel, science, and strategy—as a seasoned expert in Facilities and Construction Project Management. Over the years, she tackled some of the toughest challenges in high-tech construction, from tight budgets and treacherous terrain to time-sensitive builds tied to cutting-edge biomedical research. These intense experiences became the spark behind her gripping debut novel, Secrets in the Steel.
Now retired, Wendy brings her energy and leadership to community service, currently serving as Vice President of the Institute for Continued Learning at Utah Tech University—a vibrant hub for lifelong learners. She lives in scenic St. George, Utah, where the cliffs of Tech Ridge fuel her imagination and dreams of a futuristic research complex perched on its rim.
Wendy is also the author of AVOID THE PITFALLS: Finish the Building On Time, On Target, On Budget!, a no-nonsense guide for project managers navigating the complex world of construction.
